Worth knowing
Cross-Yachts; cover, cost and conditions
Five sailing yachts are in the programme: the Cross 31 as Cruiser and as Regatta, plus the Cross 25, Cross 36 and Cross 44. They were built between 1996 and 2005, so production lies in the past. For the rating, the data of the individual yacht counts, not its origin in this programme.
With sailing yachts the sail area takes the place of the engine output. Together with type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range it determines the premium. A Cross 25 is therefore rated differently from a Cross 44, although both come from the same programme.
The designation Regatta on the Cross 31 leads to the question of races. Club races are included from Basis-Plus onwards, and races with official scoring status should be declared when you take out the policy. In this way it is clear before the first start what is covered and what is not.
