With the Som'jet 45 a motor boat is on file, built from 1970 to 1977; no further model ranges are available. A boat from that time only changes hands used today, and that is exactly where the legal expenses cover for water sports that we offer alongside comes in.
If a dispute arises after buying a used boat or with a yard, this module applies. Independently of that, we insure without regard to year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, so that a hull from the nineteen seventies also obtains cover.
The full hull cover is written with an agreed value and pays with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff without an age limit. It covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, and the limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike and damage in winter storage.

Does the insurance help in a dispute after the purchase?
Legal expenses cover for water sports is offered alongside and applies to disputes after buying a used boat or with a yard. It supplements third-party liability, limited hull cover and full hull cover.
Is a hull from 1972 too old for hull insurance?
No. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, in the Premium tariff even without an age limit in the full hull cover. The basis is the agreed value that has been arranged.
