Dariel is an Italian maker of tenders for large yachts, founded in 2001 and based in Palazzolo sull'Oglio in Lombardy. Its boats ferry guests between a superyacht and the shore. Two lines carry the name: DARIELtender, rigid inflatables that pair an open RIB with a closed superstructure, and DARIELimo, sporty limousine tenders whose cabin keeps passengers dry. The capitalised DARIEL in the name and the number after it, close to the length in metres, make the boats easy to place.

The DARIELimo line has seven models, from the 7 metre DARIELimo 7 Cabriolet to the 16.8 metre DARIELimo 17, with the DARIELimo 14 S recorded as a RIB. A Dariel spends its life on short runs: guests to the beach, provisions from the quay, crew back to the mother ship. Many are lifted aboard on a crane or kept in a tender garage, so lifting points, fenders and the tubes of the RIB models take a lot of wear. Fresh water rinses after each day help the stainless fittings and the upholstery last.
