Worth knowing
E Ticket Boats; cover, cost and conditions
Three ranges of cabin catamarans are recorded for E Ticket Boats: the 27 Luxury Cat, the 29 Luxury Cat and the Flat Deck, each since 2019 to the present. We take multihulls into cover like single-hull boats; what matters is the type of construction, the value, the year of construction, the propulsion output and the cruising range.
With a programme of three ranges the number of units per model can be small. Small series and self-builds are insurable with us; a series name in the catalogue is not a requirement. Decisive are the details of the specific boat and the agreed value settled on that basis.
Full hull cover covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. Limited hull cover comprises fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. For a catamaran with a cabin both areas are thus covered.
Questions and answers
Frequent questions
Can small series and home-built boats be covered?
Yes. Small series and self-builds are insurable. We base the contract on the details of the specific boat and agree an agreed value for it as the basis.
Are catamarans treated like single-hull boats?
For the premium the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the engine output or the sail area and the cruising range count. The multihull is a feature of the type of construction, not a reason for exclusion.

Series by E Ticket Boats, build years and cover
27 Luxury Cat is a cabin catamaran from E Ticket Boats, built since 2019.
29 Luxury Cat is a cabin catamaran from E Ticket Boats, built since 2019.
Flat Deck is a cabin catamaran from E Ticket Boats, built since 2019.
As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On catamarans the bridgedeck between the hulls is the sensitive part, and the berth belongs in the application: double width often means a mooring rather than a marina.
