E-Ticket comes from Lake Havasu City in Arizona, a town on the reservoir of the same name on the Colorado River, well known in the United States for fast sport boats. The US Coast Guard manufacturer register lists the company as E-Ticket Performance Boats LLC, also trading as Ebb Tide Boatworks, with an entry running from January 2013 to March 2025. E-Ticket builds deck boats on catamaran hulls: open boats with plenty of lounging space that run on two hulls. The hull shape gives them away. The 29 Luxury Cat tested by Powerboat magazine rides on stepped sponsons and a stepped centre pod and was fitted with twin Mercury Racing engines for the test. The idea is to combine the space of a deck boat with the handling of a sport cat.

In between sits the Flat Deck at 8.13 metres, whose name points to a continuous level deck. A stepped catamaran running at high speed puts heavy loads on its bottom, so the steps and sponson bottoms should be checked for cracks, repairs and impact marks before buying. The transom and engine mounts carry a lot of power and deserve a close look as well. Engine hours and service records matter more than the build year on a boat that may have spent its summers running flat out on a lake. Many are trailed to the water each weekend, so the trailer, its brakes and the bunks that support the sponsons are part of the inspection.
