Anyone travelling abroad needs a certificate of insurance that is also read there. We issue it automatically in ten languages. Two motor boat ranges are on record from Fibrocell, the Seahawk from 1976 to 1983 and the Seagull MK-II from 1975 to 1982.
For both ranges production lies far in the past. That has no effect on insurability: we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. The agreed value holds the settled amount, compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
Limited hull cover includes fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage. Full hull cover adds collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. A trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value, as is the way to the slipway. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium.

Does a boat from 1980 lose cover because of its age?
No, not for Fibrocell either: The agreed value determines the value and compensation is paid with
no deduction for depreciation.
In the Premium tariff this applies with no age limit,
regardless of year of construction and previous owners.
