A change of insurer often founders on the cancellation. NAMMERT cancels the previous contract free of charge, so that the new cover follows on without a gap. That also applies to a motorboat like the Salmon 450, the only recorded model range with years of construction from 2018 to 2022.
The new contract begins with third-party liability, selectable from a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium tiers. Limited hull cover and full hull cover are added, full hull cover with an agreed value and with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tier with no age limit.
As production ended in 2022, Salmon 450 boats are used boats today. Place of purchase, previous owners and year of construction change nothing about the cover. For the premium, the type of boat, value, year of construction, engine output and cruising range count, and the boat trailer is moreover covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium.

Do I have to cancel my old contract myself?
No, not for Fishinox either: In the switching service NAMMERT cancels the previous contract free
of charge.

Can a boat with the year of construction 2018 still be insured as good as new?
