Three motor boat ranges are recorded: 160 Sport, Shadow 1550 and 190 Escape, built between 1986 and 1997. After that the record breaks off. Boats from that period are still out there and can be insured regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners.
Anyone who already has a policy and would like to switch does not have to see to the cancellation themselves. NAMMERT cancels the previous policy free of charge, and the new cover follows on from it. In this way the boat stays insured without interruption, even during the changeover.
Under full hull cover an agreed value applies with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard are included. A boat trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium.

Who cancels the existing policy when switching?

Can a motor boat from the 1980s still be insured?
Yes. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. In the Premium tariff full hull cover runs with no age limit, with an agreed value and with no deduction for depreciation.
