Worth knowing
Glas Cat; cover, cost and conditions
The Wolf-Cat 25 is recorded as a cabin catamaran, built from 1982 to 1989. With boats that are passed on over decades, equipment accumulates that often does not appear in the purchase price at all. Therefore include electronics and equipment in the list so that the agreed value reflects the actual extent.
What is in the list counts towards the agreed value in the event of a claim, and the indemnity is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). In the Premium tariff this applies with no age limit. Full hull cover also includes collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard.
Production ended in 1989. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. The cover applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and on the transport route, and limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike and theft of the whole boat.

Series by Glas Cat, build years and cover
Wolf-Cat 25 is a cabin catamaran from Glas Cat, built from 1982 to 1989.
For a series of this age there is no list price left. That is why we work with an agreed value: you state the figure, we agree it, and in a total loss exactly that amount is paid, with no deduction for wear.
On catamarans the bridgedeck between the hulls is the sensitive part, and the berth belongs in the application: double width often means a mooring rather than a marina.
