Worth knowing
Hi-Tech Plast; cover, cost and conditions
Hi-Tech Plast appears in our records with eight models, including four power catamarans such as the C15 and the Umpire series C20 to C22, plus fishing boats and the Sea-Horse. Built since 2012, lengths range from 5 to 6.6 metres.
The compact Hi-Tech Plast boats are trailerable, so transport belongs in the policy, with liability as the base cover. When taking out cover, the boat type is simply stated, whether power catamaran or fishing boat, so the hull cover matches the boat.
NAMMERT insures Hi-Tech Plast boats regardless of build year and place of purchase. You can calculate the premium in the online calculator in about 5 minutes.

As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On catamarans the bridgedeck between the hulls is the sensitive part, and the berth belongs in the application: double width often means a mooring rather than a marina.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
