One cabin catamaran is documented, the Permanautic 60, built from 2002 to 2012. No further ranges are recorded. We insure a multihull from that period by the same standards as any other boat, via type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range.
After two decades the current value of a boat becomes a point of dispute again and again. We avoid it with an agreed value: the value is in the contract, and in the event of a claim we pay with no deduction for depreciation. In the Premium tariff full hull cover applies with no age limit.
The limited hull cover covers fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the whole boat and damage in winter storage. The full hull cover additionally pays for collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. Underneath lies the third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros.

How do you treat the value of a catamaran from 2002?
