Logic Boats built small powerboats that today turn up mostly on the American used market, in sizes from 12 to 21 feet. The names explain the system: a number gives roughly the length in feet, a suffix the deck layout. CC stands for center console, Side Console puts the helm to one side, Dual Console adds a second console with a windshield, Open keeps the deck clear, and Flats marks a shallow water fishing layout. Rescue and Riot show that the same hulls also took on work and fun versions.

Our model records hold 16 Logic powerboats, all from build years 1996 to 2005, in four sizes. The 3.7 metre Logic 12 has five variants (HV, Open, Rescue, Riot, Sit-Down CC), the 4.5 metre Logic 15 four (Cool, Dual Console, Open, Side Console) and the 5.1 metre Logic 17 six (CC, Cool, Dual Console, Flats, Open, Side Console). The largest model stands alone: the 6.2 metre Logic 210 CC. The 15, 17 and 210 start in 1996, the 12 in 1997 and the Sit-Down CC in 1998; no line is recorded after 2005.

These are trailer boats with twenty years or more behind them. Before a season, check the transom and the floor for soft spots, look at wiring and fuel lines, and give the trailer bearings and lights some attention, because the trailer is where these boats spend most of their lives. Flats and center console versions are made for shallow water, where a careful eye on the depth saves the gelcoat.
