The year of construction does not stand in the way of a contract: we insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, and small production runs and home-built boats are insurable as well.
Sailing yacht and motorboat are calculated differently: with the Maestro 35 the sail area counts, with the Delphin models the engine power. In addition there are the type of boat, the value, the year of construction and the cruising range. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros remains the basis in both cases.
