A boat from current production is young, which speaks for taking out a new policy: the agreed value is set from the start, and the full hull cover pays with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). In the Premium tariff this applies with no age limit, that is also after many seasons.
Smaller motor boats are trailered; the boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value, and cover applies during launching and on the transport route. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium. Beyond that, the full hull cover includes theft of parts including the outboard as well as collision and grounding.
