Mel-Hart Products, Inc. was a boatbuilder from Conway, Arkansas. The US Coast Guard's manufacturer register lists it under the code MHP and the trading name TEKA MFG, with business running from 3 November 1975 to 3 July 1991. According to the register it built open outboard boats, flat-bottomed jon boats and boats with sterndrive or inboard power. Under the Baretta name it sold sportsboats in the eighties, such as the Success range and open bowriders. The brand lasted only a few years, and no Baretta boats have been built since 1993.

Both are recorded for build years 1986 to 1994, and their names carry the TEKA trading name. Neither reaches into recent build years, so even the youngest is now more than thirty years old. The Coast Guard register itself gives 3 July 1991 as the company's end date. At just over six to almost seven metres, both are typical American trailer boats.
