Nordkapp builds boats in Norway for waters in which waves are the normal case. The hulls are deep and strong, and the boats are almost always run with powerful outboards. For the premium, the value and the power output count, and for the hull insurance the complete engine details.
In Scandinavian waters the theft of outboards is a known problem. We give a ten percent discount on the hull insurance for a GPS or Bluetooth tracker system with its own power supply. In addition, an engine lock that is more than the standard clamp helps.
Anyone who takes the boat ashore in winter should keep the winter storage cover in mind. Damage in winter storage, for example from storm, snow load or a boat stand tipping over, is included with us. The condition is that the boat is properly cradled, and a photograph of the setup costs nothing and helps in the event of a claim.
