Rapsody Jachtbouw is a Dutch yard whose yachts look like motor launches from the early twentieth century while carrying modern hulls, engines and systems. The R 32 shows the formula: a cream hull, a varnished superstructure, mahogany decks and interior, and fittings in stainless steel and brass. That look runs through the R line, from the small touring boat to the large motor yacht. The R in front of the name and a number close to the length in feet identify each model.

Lengths range from 8.75 metres for the 29 OC models and the R 29 Classic to 34.8 metres for the R 110.

Varnish and mahogany ask for time. A Rapsody kept indoors in winter and revarnished on a steady rhythm keeps its gloss for decades. The small models can still travel by road, while the R 80 and R 110 are harbour yachts with crew and a permanent berth.
