Sciallino s.r.l.; cover, cost and conditions

Sciallino comes from Ceriale on the Ligurian Riviera. Domenico Sciallino founded it in 1960 as a small family yard building traditional wooden fishing boats, the gozzi liguri. From there grew a range of motorboats and motor yachts in a classic style and of sturdy construction. In 2016 the Moreno family, owners of Cantiere Patrone, took the yard over. The gozzo line shows even in the bigger boats, and the suffixes Cabin, Consolle, Fly, Sport, Fisherman and Navetta tell you the type.

Our model records list 19 Sciallino designs, eight motorboats and eleven motor yachts. Three are classic Gozzo Ligure boats of 3.8, 4.5 and 5.1 metres, built from 1994 to 2005. The S line has seven models, from the S 23 Cabin to the S 50 Navetta, recorded from 2002 to 2012. The Sciallino 19, 20, 23 Consolle, 25 Cabin, 27, 33, 34 Cabin and 40 plus the Gemy complete it. The oldest build years are 1980, the newest 2016 for the Sciallino 19. Sizes go from the 3.8 metre Gozzo Ligure 380 to the 17 metre S 50 Navetta.

A gozzo is a day boat at heart: out to an anchorage in the morning, back on the mooring by evening. The small ones travel well on a trailer, while the Navetta and the Fly models are berth boats for longer coastal trips. Woodwork on deck and the traditional trim want oil or varnish every season to keep their look.
