Seacode s.r.l.; cover, cost and conditions

Seacode is a motor boat yard in Milazzo on the north coast of Sicily. It succeeded the Coverline Prestige yard: the company DENIMA took over the Milazzo site and carried it on under the Seacode name, keeping the features that had made the Coverline boats popular. At the time of the takeover the range held 14 boat types in the Open Line, Cabin, Walkaround and Cabin Fish lines from 5 to 12 metres. Two naming generations tell the boats apart: older Cover and Coverline models with the length in the name, such as the Cover 6.40 Cabin, and newer Sea Code models named after islands and places like Lipari, Panarea and Hampton.

Our model records list 29 models from Seacode and its predecessor: 14 motor boats and 15 filed as motor yachts. Recorded build years run from 1998 to 2018, and none continues into current production. Lengths range from 5 to 10.1 metres, with half between 6.5 and 7.5 metres. The Coverline era brought the Cover 5.80 to 8.30 Cabin, the Coverline Mid Cabin models at 6.8 to 8.3 metres and the Malaga 610 and 670. The Sea Code Cabin line runs from the Cabin 20 at 5.9 metres to the Cabin 35 at 10.1 metres, while the Hampton 670 and Marlin 720 sit at 6.8 and 7.2 metres.

Most of these are small cabin cruisers for summer weekends along the coast. As the boats are now between eight and 28 years old, the condition and hours of the engine, the state of the cabin and the electronics fitted decide much of their value.
