Worth knowing
VTS Boats; cover, cost and conditions
For this brand we have no model ranges on file; neither production periods nor types of boat are recorded. A contract still comes about, because we assess the boat and not the yard. Small series and self-built boats are just as insurable at NAMMERT as production boats.
What is needed is type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power or sail area and the cruising range. The premium arises from these details. On top of that sits third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium.
In the full hull version, hull cover comprises collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, with an agreed value and with no deduction for depreciation. A boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value, and winter storage, craning, launching and the transport route are included. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium.
