YOT Power Catamarans belongs to the French Catana Group of Canet-en-Roussillon, a company known for its Catana and Bali sailing catamarans. According to the trade press, work on YOT began in 2020, and the brand was launched in 2023 as a line devoted entirely to motor catamarans. The first model, the YOT 36, was shown at the 2023 Cannes Yachting Festival. Design is handled by the studio JnJ Design together with an in-house team drawn from the motorboat world. The boats are easy to recognise as bowriders on two hulls: a central passage with a door leads forward, the helm sits behind a wraparound windscreen under a T-top, and power comes from outboards.
Our model records list one YOT design, the YOT Power Catamarans 41, entered from build year 2023 and running into the most recent build years, at 12.57 metres. The press reports twin 400 hp outboards. The galley and saloon sit in the central nacelle, with symmetrical cabins in both hulls. Fold-down side decks widen the beam from about 4.5 to around 5.8 metres, and a hydraulic platform at the stern lowers into the water. That makes the YOT 41 the second and larger model after the YOT 36, which our records do not list separately.
Twin big outboards make maintenance straightforward compared with inboard installations, yet they need their annual service, fresh water flushing and a look at the anodes. On a used YOT 41, ask for the engine service history, run both motors under load and check the steering and trim. The fold-down side decks and the hydraulic stern platform have hinges, seals and rams that should move smoothly and stay dry. As a young boat, most examples still have their builder paperwork and service logs, which a buyer should ask to see. The open layout suits day trips and coastal hops in warm water.
