Four ranges are recorded, among them the AO2600, the AO2800 Party Deck and, with the AO 2900 Patriot, a cabin catamaran. All of them have been running since 2018 and up to the present day. For each of these boats we agree an agreed value in the full hull cover, which is paid out in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation, new for old.
Older years of construction are no obstacle here. In the Premium tariff the agreed value applies with no age limit, so that a boat from the first year of the range is protected just as well as a current one. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, and the boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no additional premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium.
Alongside motor boats, the cabin catamaran brings a second type of construction into the programme. For the premium this only matters in so far as type of boat, value, year of construction, engine power and cruising range are taken into account. Third-party liability insurance with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis in every case.
