Compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Full hull cover comprises collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. Limited hull cover applies to fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the entire boat and damage in winter storage.
The premium is based on the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the engine output and the cruising range, never on the brand. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros forms the basis, and the boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online.
