Conero boats come from Società Conero, an Italian builder working in glassfibre. The range is made of open motorboats for day trips along the coast, from centre consoles to small cabin boats, and many of them work in the Italian rental fleet. The Kingfisher is laid out as a centre console for sport fishing and is offered as Eco and Luxury. Names borrow from wind and sea, Breeze, Windy, Seastar, Sunny, and a number often adds the rough length in centimetres, as on the 6.6 metre Drifting 660 or the Breeze 820.
Our records list 18 motorboats under the Conero name: 16 carry Conero in the model name, and two older entries appear as Delfino, the Delfino Open (1978 to 1985) and Delfino Faust (1983 to 1989). The Conero models start in 2003, and 14 of them are recorded into the latest build years. Breeze is the broadest family with five versions, Drifting has three and Kingfisher two, alongside the Cabin 540, Perla, Seastar, Sunny, Weekend Eco and Windy. Lengths go from 4.5 metres (Delfino Open) to 8.25 metres (Breeze 820 EFB); ten models stay under six metres and three Breeze 820 versions pass eight.
Most of the range tows easily behind a car, so many of these boats spend the season on a trailer and the winter in a shed rather than in a marina. Small open boats collect rainwater, which makes a well fitted tarpaulin and a working bilge pump worth checking. Kingfisher anglers should rinse deck and tackle after each trip, and the larger Breeze 820 models are comfortable enough to keep on a summer mooring.
