The boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium. Cover takes effect not only on the water, but also during launching, during craning, in winter storage and in transit. Anyone who moves their boat between waters needs no additional contract for it.
The premium arises from the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the engine power and the cruising range, never from the name of the brand. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros the policy is taken out online. The basis remains third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros in three tariff levels.
