Only one range is on record, the Hunt Dayboat 41, in production since 2019. No details on sizes, orientation or further models are available. The fact that the range contains a single model changes nothing about the cover: small series and self-built boats can be insured with us.
For boats without a broad basis for comparison, the agreed value is the decisive point. Value and equipment are fixed before the contract begins and are paid in the event of a claim with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). Electronics and equipment belong in this schedule.
In addition, full hull cover covers collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros remains the basis, and up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online.

Yes. Small series and self-built boats can be insured. We record value and equipment as an agreed value so that no discussion about the replacement value arises in the event of a claim.
Is permanently installed electronics part of the cover?
Include electronics and equipment in the schedule for the agreed value and they are covered. Theft of parts including the outboard is covered by full hull cover.

Hunt Dayboat 41 is a motorboat from Front Street Shipyard, built since 2019.
As the series is still in production, parts are available and repair costs are predictable. Even so, value it at replacement cost including retrofitted electronics, not at list price.
On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part. Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
