With the Kap 480 motorboat one model range is recorded, built since 2023 and up to the present day. Even with a new boat, cover does not start with the hull insurance but with third-party liability. It covers damage to others and at NAMMERT ranges from a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros.
Which sum applies depends on the tariff tier; Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium are available. Limited hull cover and full hull cover build on this, the latter with an agreed value, with no deduction for depreciation (new for old) and in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Club races are included from Basis-Plus.
A young boat is often trailered and launched several times. The trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value, and the cover applies in winter storage, during craning, during launching and while in transit. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium. Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online.
