GPA S.r.l. is a boatbuilder in Sicily that sells its boats under the Ayros name. The yard builds compact centre-console motorboats sized to travel on a road trailer. According to the builder, the XC 22 was the first centre console in the range, and it carries CE design category C, meaning it is intended for coastal waters. An Ayros is easy to pick out: high topsides that give a family a secure feeling on board, two bathing platforms each with its own ladder, a stern bench that folds into a sun pad and a small cabin under the foredeck for a night aboard. Some models come both as an open version and as a walkaround with side decks.
