Hensa is a boatyard from Lake Zurich. Founded on the lake, it became an established name in Swiss boatbuilding during the sixties and seventies. It made its reputation with sturdy glassfibre hulls and classic lines, boats for anglers, families and weekend skippers on the lake. The names alone are recognisable: the Hensa de luxe and the Hensa Variant still turn up in Swiss second-hand listings. Today the company operates as Hensa Lago Marina, with a boatyard in Altendorf on the upper part of the lake and further moorings in Schmerikon and Rapperswil.
