Isloep builds sloepen, the open Dutch leisure boats, in Rijnsaterwoude in the Netherlands. The Rapida line is pitched as a dayboat for tidal and sheltered coastal water: a light but strong polyester hull, a fine bow, high freeboard and a steep transom, with a Yanmar engine as standard. The numbers are easy to read, because in our records each one matches the length in centimetres, so the 585 measures 5.85 metres and the 990 Rapida 9.9.
