LG S.r.l.; cover, cost and conditions
Anvera is the brand of LG S.r.l. (Anvera 42), also known as LG-Yacht, based in Misano Adriatico near Rimini. The company was set up in 2002 to process composite materials for the yachting industry. Its founders trace their roots to Ferretti, where they worked from 1991 in the offshore racing team and later in engineering. Luca Ferrari was joined by Giancarlo Galeone and Gilberto Grassi, and the designer Aldo Drudi shaped the boats. The first Anvera, the 55, was launched in 2015. Production runs on two sites in Misano, one for carbon parts and one for assembly and finishing. The defining feature is the material: large RIBs with hull and deck made entirely of carbon fibre.
Our model records list five designs, all of them rigid inflatables. The Anvera 55 at 16.8 metres is recorded from 2013 to 2024, the Anvera 48 at 14.5 metres from 2014. The Anvera 42 at 12.9 metres joins in 2017, followed in 2019 by the Anvera 42 Speedster of the same length and the Anvera 58, at 17.5 metres the largest design. Four of the five run into the most recent build years, and only the 55 has ended. Nothing in the range is shorter than 12.9 metres, a size class where RIBs are rarely built.
A carbon RIB of this size is a fast and technical boat. When looking at a used one, have the laminate checked for impact damage, since carbon can hide delamination under an intact surface. Inspect the tubes and their bonding to the hull, look at the engines and drives with their service records, and test the electronics. These boats are made for quick runs along the coast and between islands, and many work as day boats or as tenders for larger yachts.
