Mursan builds fibreglass boats in Turkey; the works are at Bursa south of the Sea of Marmara and are family owned. The boats carry the name San Boat. The range runs from small open craft through angling and sport boats to cabin boats of twelve metres, alongside working and excursion boats. The line names say what a model is for: Trophy for the sporting angling boat, Dolphin for the open leisure boat, Cuddy for the version with a small cabin under the foredeck. You recognise them by the high topsides, the wide transom and the plain finish drawn for use.

The span is what defines this brand: a two and a half metre boat and a twelve metre cabin yacht wear the same name. Small ones are trailered, spend winter ashore and run an outboard that is often worth more than the hull; larger ones lie on a berth with fitted systems aboard.
