In Hawaii Naish builds SUP boards, kites, windsurfing equipment and foils, one of the defining brands in water sports, founded by Robby Naish. The range extends from recreational SUPs to race boards and foil sets, and for the insurance the question is which parts of the set carry which value.
With a foil set the value lies not in the board but in the mast, fuselage and wings. Anyone who owns several sets of wings, which is common among foilers, has equipment worth as much as a small car that is not attached to the board but sits in a bag.
