Nautipol; cover, cost and conditions
Nautipol is a boatyard in Galicia, in the north-west of Spain, based in Tui on the bank of the Miño, the river that marks the border with Portugal. Besides building boats, the Spanish company register lists repair, refit, maintenance and storage among its activities. The whole range carries the 7 Mares name. Three and four digit numbers such as 630, 830 or 1030 give the length in centimetres, while suffixes like HT, Open or Fisher mark versions of the same length. Since 2017 two models with two digit names have joined them, the 7 Mares 28 and 7 Mares 30.
Our records hold nine Nautipol models, six motorboats and three motor yachts. The 7 Mares 830 and 1030 are the earliest, from 2004; the 930 and 830 Fisher followed in 2007, and the 630 HT and 630 Open in 2012. Seven lines run into the latest build years, while the 830 Fisher ends in 2017 and the plain 630 runs from 2013 to 2020. Lengths go from 6.3 metres for the three 630 versions to 10.3 metres for the 7 Mares 1030.
These are boats built on the Atlantic, used to swell and to the wide Galician rías. The 630s tow easily behind a car and suit a day of fishing or a run to a beach; the larger boats from 8.3 metres are happier on a marina berth, ready for longer coastal hops. Salt and sun are the main enemies, so a fresh water rinse after each outing and a regular look at hoses, anodes and the trailer pay off.

On a motorboat the drive is the single most valuable part.
Damage after grounding is covered, an engine failure from wear is not.
For the 7 Mares 30, 7 Mares 830, 7 Mares 1030 by Nautipol series:
On motor yachts the drive and the electronics together make up about half the value.
Both belong in the valuation, otherwise the sum insured is too low.
