Nerea Yacht is an Italian yard on the Adriatic coast near Fano, in the Marche, a region well known for its boatbuilding. It was founded by Dario Messina, who came to it with some twenty years of experience in boat construction. The company calls itself a boutique of boats: each one is built by hand and fitted out to the owner's wishes. The lines of the range come from the Ligurian designers Alessio Battistini and Davide Bernardini of the IdeaeItalia studio, while the sporty hull of the larger model was drawn by the engineer Maurizio Zuccheri. What sets the brand apart is the number of versions on offer: according to the yard, the 40 alone is available in more than 30 configurations.

The motorboat is the Nerea 24, a 7.35 metre day cruiser recorded from 2016 to 2021, which the yard pitches for short day trips and as a tender to larger yachts.
