Partenautica; cover, cost and conditions
In our records, Partenautica is a builder of motor yachts from the early 1990s. The programme consists of motor yachts only, from a compact nine metre boat to a 17 metre flybridge yacht. We found no solid source on the yard's home, founding or designers, so this page describes the range from the model data alone. The naming is easy to read: the number after Partenautica matches the length in feet quite closely, so the Partenautica 30 is 9.16 metres and the 55 FB is 17 metres. FB marks a flybridge version with an upper helm.
Six Partenautica models appear in our records, all motor yachts and all with the same build years, 1990 to 1997. The smallest is the 9.16 metre Partenautica 30. Next come the 11.68 metre Partenautica 38, the Partenautica 42 and 42 FB at 12.9 metres each, the 13.2 metre Partenautica 44 S and, the largest, the 17 metre Partenautica 55 FB. Two models carry the FB suffix, and the 42 exists at the same length with and without a flybridge. Four of the six sit between 11.68 and 13.2 metres.
A Partenautica today is around thirty years old and usually lives on a marina berth. Engine hours, shaft seals and exhaust elbows are the usual points to check, along with the flybridge seating and canvas, which take the most sun. A yearly lift for antifouling keeps the hull in good order.
