Plastik is a boatyard in Livorno, on the Tuscan coast. It was founded in 1971 as Cantieri Plastik and later traded as Space, then as Cantieri Navali di Livorno and finally as Ap Italia, so for a time Space was the name of the company as well as of its boats. That is worth knowing when tracing papers for a used boat. According to the Italian boating press, every stage of the work stays inside the Tuscan yard: design, moulding and painting the hulls, fitting engines and components, building and finishing the interiors down to the upholstery, and certification. The output consists of compact motor yachts with cabins, in open versions and with a flybridge.

On the Space 350 Fly the flybridge puts weight up high, so the mounting points of the hardtop or bimini and the access ladder deserve a look. Check the electrics as well, since equipment added by several owners tends to leave a tangle behind the panels.
