Four model ranges are recorded: the Northstar 28 Classic as a sailing boat with build years up to 2003, plus the Northstar 32 C/DH/S, the 38 Doghouse and the 42 as sailing yachts, all from 1997 and up to 2005. What counts for the contract is the data of the individual boat.

We record the value as an agreed value in the contract before it begins. In the event of a claim, compensation is paid from it with no deduction for depreciation. This means that even before the first trip it is clear what amount is available in the event of a total loss, regardless of the purchase price paid.

In addition, the legal expenses cover for water sports can be included. The basis of the contract remains third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, to which limited hull cover or full hull cover is added. Club races are included from the Basis-Plus level onwards.
