Salona builds sailing yachts of between 11 and 18 metres in Croatia with a welded steel frame in the hull that takes up the keel and rig loads, a construction method that comes from racing yacht building and makes the yachts stiffer than pure laminate hulls. They are fast cruising yachts, frequently used for charter in the Adriatic.
