At the start of every contract stands third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, selectable in the levels Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium. This also applies to the S-500, a sailing boat with build years from 2007 to 2015. Limited hull cover and full hull cover can be added as you choose.
Under full hull cover an agreed value is agreed, compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Covered are collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts including the outboard, and under limited hull cover fire, storm and lightning strike.
For the premium on sailing boats the sail area, the type of boat, the value, the year of construction and the cruising range count, never the brand. Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards.
