The agreed value holds this value in the contract, independently of later discussions about current market value.
Further model ranges are not available to us. The premium follows the type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range anyway, not the name of the yard. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners, and small production runs and home-built boats can be insured as well.
Part of the basis is third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros. Anyone who sails races will find club races included from Basis-Plus; you state races with scoring status when taking out the policy. Legal expenses cover for water sports can be added.

What helps in the case of defects after the purchase?
Legal expenses cover for water sports is offered as well and applies in disputes after buying a used boat or with a yard. For damage to the boat itself, limited hull cover and full hull cover are responsible.
How is the value set in the contract?
As an agreed value. In the event of a claim, indemnity is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), and under the Premium tariff full hull cover also applies without an age limit for the boat.
