A sailing boat that comes to the water on a trailer spends many kilometres ashore. Recorded is the Thales 22 with a build period from 2002 to 2008. At NAMMERT the trailer is included in the boat insurance at no extra premium, and a second contract is not needed for it.
Cover also applies during craning, during launching, on the transport route and in winter storage. Limited hull cover names damage in winter storage explicitly, plus fire, storm, lightning strike and theft of the entire boat. Indemnity is paid according to the agreed value.
Production ended in 2008, so purchases are made used. Year of build, place of purchase and previous owners play no part in acceptance. In full hull cover indemnity is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Club races are included from Basis-Plus onwards.
