Two sailing yachts are recorded, the Athena 34 from the years 1978 to 1989 and the Senorita Helmsman from the years 1974 to 1988. Both ranges have long been finished. For yachts of this age, the agreed value carries the entire hull cover.
It fixes the settlement amount at the start of the contract, so that in the event of a claim there is no argument about an estimated current market value. The full hull cover pays up to this agreed value with no deduction for depreciation, in the Premium tariff with no age limit. In the hull cover there is no time window and no night clause.
For the premium of a sailing yacht the sail area counts instead of the engine power, together with the type of boat, the value, the year of construction and the cruising range. Club races are included from Basis-Plus. The year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners are no obstacle to acceptance.
