Two ranges have been handed down, the motor yacht Pandora from 1971 to 1980 and the sailing yacht Brigand from 1970 to 1977. When buying such a boat the question arises of how the value is recorded in the policy. For that we set an agreed value.
On this basis the full hull cover pays compensation with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. We provide cover regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners. Legal expenses cover for water sports can be included and takes effect in the event of a dispute after the purchase of a used boat.
Depending on the type of boat, either the engine power or the sail area counts towards the premium, plus the type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range. Third-party liability with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros carries the policy, and the boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium.
