Seafinn Yachts Oy is the Finnish yard behind the Seafinn motorsailers. The boats are built in glassfibre, hull and superstructure alike, with a teak deck and a traditional teak interior. Every Seafinn follows the same idea: the sailing ability of a cruising yacht joined to the sheltered helm of a motorboat. They are recognisable by the deck saloon with its inside steering position and by toughened glass windows set in aluminium frames. The Seafinn 411 succeeded the smaller Seafinn 39, and brokers describe it as ketch rigged, with a second, shorter mast aft of the main.

No entry reaches the most recent build years, so these boats are only found second hand. Brokers give the 411 an overall length of 13.20 metres, a beam of 3.50 metres and a draught of 1.55 metres, with 11.5 tonnes displacement and 4.5 tonnes of ballast. Below there are two cabins, a saloon with the inside helm, two heads with showers and diesel heating. One boat from 1991 offered for sale had a 125 hp Perkins diesel, a strong engine for a motorsailer.
A motorsailer of this kind is made for long passages and cold seasons, and a buyer should look at it with that in mind. The engine carries more of the work than on a pure sailing yacht, so service history, mounts, shaft seal and cooling deserve close attention. Big windows in aluminium frames need sound seals; leaks often show first as stains in the teak below. A teak deck of this age may need recaulking or replacement. The ketch rig has two sets of standing rigging to check, and the heating system should be serviced before a winter cruise in northern waters.
