Two sailing yachts are recorded: the Shamrock from 1971 and the Club Shamrock from 1973, both with production ending at the beginning of the 1980s. Anyone taking one of them over is buying second-hand, often privately. For the time afterwards, legal expenses cover for water sports can be added.
It applies in a dispute after buying a used boat or with a yard and thus supplements third-party liability and hull insurance, which are not responsible for such disagreements. An existing previous contract is cancelled by the switching service free of charge, so that no gap arises at the changeover.
For the yacht itself the agreed value applies, indemnity is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old). The premium follows from sail area, type of boat, value, year of build and cruising range. Club races are included from Basis-Plus, races with scoring status you report when taking out the policy.
