A slim programme changes nothing about access to cover, because what is insured is the individual boat according to the type of boat, the value, the year of construction, the sail area and the cruising range.
Third-party liability covers 10 to 50 million euros depending on the tariff level and forms the basis of the policy. It applies when you damage other people's property or injure people with the boat, in the harbour as on the water. Basis, Basis-Plus and Premium differ in the amount of this sum.
Limited hull cover and full hull cover can be built on this. Limited hull cover bears fire, storm, lightning strike, theft of the whole boat and damage in winter storage, full hull cover in addition collision, grounding, vandalism and theft of parts. Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards.

Can a boat from 2004 be insured without an assessment?
Up to a sum insured of 2.5 million euros you take out the policy online, above that we assess the individual case. The year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners never stand in the way of acceptance.
