On sailing yachts the sail area takes the place of the engine output. Five ranges are recorded under Tirena, among them the Tirena 8,30, the Tirena Royal, the Flavia and the Robinson, built between 1966 and 1979. Together with value, year of construction and cruising range that produces the premium.
Production ended in the seventies, so the boats are correspondingly old today. We insure regardless of year of construction, place of purchase and previous owners. In hull insurance an agreed value applies, compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
Anyone taking over such a yacht second-hand can also take out the legal expenses cover for water sports, for example in a dispute after the purchase or with a yard. Third-party liability forms the basis with a limit of indemnity of 10 to 50 million euros, and club races are included from Basis-Plus.
