Boats from small production runs can also be protected: small production runs and home-built boats are insurable. Under Ultivelt one single range is recorded, the sailing boat of the same name with years of construction from 1990 to 1997; no further ranges are available to us, which changes nothing about the cover.
For the rating, the type of boat, value, year of construction, sail area and cruising range are enough. A narrow programme has no effect, because the premium is never based on the brand. We insure the boat regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners.
The full hull cover holds the value by means of an agreed value and pays compensation with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit. Club races are included from Basis-Plus upwards; races with scoring status are declared when you take out the policy. Third-party liability remains the basis.
