Three model ranges are recorded, a cutter sloop, a passenger boat and the schooner Melly IV, all with the construction period 1982 to 1989. The programme thus comprises sailing yachts and one motor yacht within a few years. For the insurance, every vessel counts with its own details.
Between the seasons such vessels stand ashore. Damage in winter storage is covered through limited hull cover, as are fire, storm, lightning strike and the theft of the entire boat. Craning and launching as well as the transport route also belong to the cover, with no time window and no night clause.
With the sailing yachts the sail area goes into the premium, with the passenger boat the engine output, in each case together with type of boat, value, year of construction and cruising range. For years of construction from the eighties an agreed value is agreed under full hull cover, compensation is paid with no deduction for depreciation ("new for old").
