Two motorboat ranges are recorded here, the Thor 400 and the Thor 440, both with a build period from 2016 to 2022. Production therefore lies in the past. If such a boat is trailered, the boat trailer is covered by the third-party liability at no extra premium from Basis-Plus, provided it is named in the application with its value, without a separate contract being needed for it. You can add it to the hull cover for a premium.
Cover does not end at the water. It also applies during craning, during launching and while in transport, as well as in winter storage. Hull cover has no time window and no night clause, so damage on the trailer is settled in just the same way as damage on the water.
Since production ended in 2022, boats from both ranges come second hand today. That does not change the cover: we insure regardless of the year of construction, the place of purchase and previous owners, and full hull cover pays up to the agreed value with no deduction for depreciation (new for old), in the Premium tariff with no age limit.
